Historic Paris Landing State Park Inn — halfway down — ‘half of the story, or less, was ever told’

I posted this on Feb. 17, 2018 on my Facebook Page. It had quite a few interesting comments and observations about the demolition, rather than the once recommended renovation, of the historic Paris Landing State Park Inn.

“This is a total crock of bull from the Gannett Corporation/Leaf-Chronicle/Stewart-Houston Times/.The only options include a tear down/rebuild smaller and more exclusive and no renovation to the existing inn? That goes against the state’s own feasibility study. The plan to tear down Paris Landing State Park Inn needs to wait until the next governor is in office. Now our current lawmakers are threatening to tear it down and not rebuild. What is really going on with this rush job? If Stewart County’s elected state lawmakers have no more clout, guts or wisdom than to go along with this travesty they all need to go. You only reported one side of this major news story Stewart-Houston Times/Gannett Corporation!”
