The LBL Crepe Myrtle brings rich color and beauty to Land Between the Lakes and our area. The Crepe Myrtle is one of the most glorious of the flowering plants in LBL. The rich color of the Crepe Myrtle stands out in the landscape of summer in the LBL area.

This particular Crepe Myrtle has been around for many, many years. It was won by the owner as a door prize in a training session for educators.

The plant was placed outside and has taken off and grown very high over the years. Each year it turns out beautiful flowers for all in the LBL area who drive by to enjoy.

Among all of the flowering plants in the LBL area, the Crepe Myrtle are some of the most distinct in color and presentation.

Shooting the vibrant colors in order to do justice to the natural beauty is a challenge. The natural lighting brings out the highlights of these vibrant flowering plants.
