Wickliffe, KY is the home of a giant cross that stands 95 feet tall and overlooks two major rivers. The large metal cross is situated on a bluff overlooking the confluence of the Ohio and Mississippi Rivers. Lots of motorists and boaters have thrilled to the glorious sight of this giant cross.

My brother had often told me of seeing the Giant Cross at Wickliffe, KY., while he was working in the engine room of riverboats that rolled past the iconic structure.
Often my brother would describe the cross to me. I could not even imagine that such a structure actually exits in our region.
When we drove up to the area where the cross stands, I was stunned. It is even larger and more beautiful that I had even anticipated.
