It was a great, sunny day in the summer of 2010 when I visited the cool little town of Metropolis, Illinois and got these shots of the ‘famous’ and iconic ‘Superman’ statue that stands in the town square. If you have not ever been to Metropolis to see all of the wild, interesting things relating to Superman, as Metropolis was the name of the fictional city where Superman/Clark Kent lived and worked. The statue is huge, colorful and very photogenic … especially on bright sunny day.
