Patriotic Politicians Participated in popular Parade in Erin, TN (Houston County)

Many of our politicians were in attendance at the recent Irish Celebration and Irish Day Parade May 10, 2021 in Erin, Tennessee (Houston County). The Irish Parade has a rich history of having politicians from all over the state and even the nation attend, participate and make speeches and promises. Former Tennessee Governor Don Sundquist used to participate in the parade regularly and would have town hall meetings at the Houston County Courthouse following the parade when he was a United States Congressman. U.S. Congressman Mark Green was at the most recent parade and festivities, as were many other local, state and national politicians. Al Gore used to walk through the parade as a U.S. Congressman, U.S. Senator and as a U.S. Vice President and as a candidate for U.S. president. Many politicians dressed up their automobiles in green and white and in red, white and blue to lend a festive and patriotic flavor to the event. Many politicians went all out in walking through the parade and shaking hands with the spectators.
