Korean War Traveling Monument rolled into LBL area

With an escort from the ‘Legion Riders’ the “Freedom is Never Free” Korean War Traveling Monument rolled into Dover, Tennessee and landed at the Stewart County Visitors Center on Donelson Parkway.

The Life-sized replica of the Korean War Monument in Washington D.C. was on full display and free to the public on the grounds of the Stewart County Visitors Center in 2021.

. An “Opening Ceremony” to honor our Soldiers of our “Forgotten War” and to continue commemoration of Stewart County’s Memorial Day Weekend observance was held last year.

. Posting Colors during Opening Ceremonies on Saturday was the American Legion Post 72 Honor Guard with patriotic entertainment the 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) Fort Campbell, Ky., Woodwind Ensemble Band. — LBLUS.com covered thew event.
