I shot this bird on June 12, 2020 and I can remember chasing, chasing it all around my yard. It would stop for a while and let me get close enough, almost, for a shot and I would get in position and then it would flitter away to another tree or perch. I am not for sure what kind of bird this is, it looks somewhat unusual to me, but I imagine it is a common type. If anyone knows, please let us know. I finally got a good angle on it with my Nikon secret weapon camera and the background is stunning, I think. — Chasing down and shooting birds in and around the neighborhood was my summertime hobby during the lockdown, pandemic, very strange summer of 2020.
