‘Cumberland River Swing Bridge’ ~ Clarksville, Tennessee ~ Montgomery County ~ LBL area

The Cumberland River Swing Bridge at Clarksville, Tennessee is literally one of the marvels on the river in the Land Between the Lakes area. This bridge at this location has been the hub of commerce for our area for more than a century. It is amazing to watch it in action as it turns to allow for some larger boats to pass under. This structure has been at the center of commerce for Clarksville/Montgomery County throughout the tremendous growth periods the area has experienced.
