You can almost see the drama unfold in this series of shots at Fort Donelson National Battlefield in historic Dover, Tennessee recently. These Fort Donelson employees were not necessarily looking for the eagle, but the proud bird was right above them looking them over as they were carrying out their business of the day at the large turntable — at least that is what we have always called it, The Turntable, at Fort Donelson. The resident bald eagles at Fort Donelson are very photogenic and do not mind posing for shots. This has made them famous the LBLUS.com region over!
