A few more hours and it is September 2021. This old year is sure flying by at a rapid pace. It seems only yesterday we were wondering if 2021 would even get here and if 2020 would ever leave. 2020 seems like it lasted a decade and 2021 seems as it if has only been here a month or so. Anyway, this is actually posted at about 8:30 p.m. on Aug. 31, 2021, but the archive will show this post as being the first in September 2021. None of this really matters, I guess, but it sorta does. Great bird shot to illustrate the end of August and the start of September. Wonder what the rest of 2021 will bring? For my money, 2021 has been a whole lot worse year than 2020 and we still have a few months remaining until 2022 … which of course, is a big election year locally and statewide.
