Of course I shot it with my camera. That is the only type of hunting I do — photography…..
After repeated tries for several days, I finally got a couple of not great shots of this guy (or gal) at the Ned McWherter Bridge (Paris Landing Bridge) between Stewart and Henry Counties. This guy hangs out on the Henry County side and huts the shoreline of Kentucky Lake at the bridge. I was able to get a shot from across the highway. As you can see, I caught him (or her) looking in the other direction from me and this is the only way I was able to get a quick shot. (I also made an artPic of one photo.) For some time now, whenever I try to get stopped to get a shot this bird is gone! It is for sure an elusive hunter and I am happy to have gotten at least a couple of pics. Thanks for looking!
(Does anyone know for sure what kind of bird this is?)
