It was a windy day yesterday and this was a fairly hard shot to capture with no tripod! The wind kept blowing me just enough to keep my Nikon ‘secret weapon’ camera and lens from being able to get a good focus up into the nest at Fort Donelson; but I did get a few showing the new baby! Jack and Lizzy, the resident pair of nesting bald eagles at Fort Donelson National Battlefield in Dover, Tennessee are parents once again. It was hard to see if there was more than one chick in the nest this year, but for sure here is photo confirmation from LBLUS.com that again our resident, nesting bald eagles are proud parents once again.
Stay tuned to LBLUS.com for more bald eagle updates!
