The lighting was perfect for this series of shots of this Land Between the Lakes area cranes. The bird just kept posing and kept coming closer and closer and again the lighting for this shot was just about perfect and the sun was over my shoulder at just the right angle. For me, the lighting is key on a photo and I could not have asked for a better atmosphere and temperature. When you take your shots, keep an eye out on the lighting and come back to the same location at a different time of day. The photos will change. Of course, the scenery will also as birds fly away .. as this Land Between the Lakes crane soon did.
