Members of Boy Scout Troop 501 along with scout leaders and supporters were out in Dover, Tennessee tonight again planting American Flags throughout town. The American Flags have been placed all along U.S. 79 in and around Dover by the scouts for many years. The patriotic symbols of the United States have become a fixture in town during Memorial Day, July 4 and Veterans Day. It is also the signal to start summer when Boy Scout Troop 501 again posts American Flags for Memorial Day in Dover, Tennessee and Stewart County.
The flags were placed in many areas of Dover recently t by the scouts as a tribute to the fallen in honor of the upcoming Memorial day. The posting of American flags around town are also as also a patriotic prelude to the upcoming EagleFest celebration held each year at Dover City Park.
