Many programs that interpret civil war and local history are underway this summer
Below, Members of the 9th Kentucky, out of Stones River Battery, Murfreesboro, tennessee performed musket and cannon firing demonstrations at Fort Donelson National Battlefield, Dover,Tennessee during the 154th anniversary weekend of the Battle of Fort Donelson.
Also during the event, Houston County, Tennessee’s Jimmy Steppee displayed the civil war caisson he made at his home.
