This was a gloriously beautiful day in Dover, TN this spring. If you look closely at the photo, you will see some of the most iconic buildings in our great little town. Look even more closely and you will see that there are many, many cars in the parking lot of Anglin Funeral Home. Look even closer and you will see a Confederal Flag or two on the motorcycles in the parking lot. This was the day of the funeral for one of my very good friends and former band members, Archie Myers. I posted this photo some time back but wanted to give a little time before I made public this photo was taken during the day of Archie’s funeral. Archie was a very good friend and he was one of the best drummers I ever played with. His rhythm and timing were lock down tight and I always thought he had a very unique, understated way of playing — if you could ever say that anything at all about Archie Myers was understated! — Rest in Peace my good friend and you had a glorious day for your funeral.
